Lavish Group satisfied all our Health & Safety requirements for the site and worked with the British Waterways to comply with their stringent environmental codes of practice.  The civils works were completed on time and on budget and the client was impressed with our selection of subcontract work.

Lavish Group were sub-contracted by Hydro-X water Treatment Ltd to install a concrete support base for an innovative containerised pumping & filtration system, incorporating a 20 tonne storage tank. All designed by Hydro-X.

Initially this involved Lavish digging across the Knowaste site and the towpath (under the M5 motorway) and into the canal.

They also laid in the abstraction pipeline from the canal to the pumps, and made good the concrete canal walls and towpath and site fencing.

This allowed Hydro-X to come in and install the filtration systems at Knowaste, taking water from the local canal and pumping it onto site, then treating and supplying this water to Europe’s 1st nappy recycling facility.
